Inspect a monitor for dead or stuck pixels
Open dead pixel inspection. Clean the screen according to its manufacturer’s instructions and use normal brightness.
Inspect every field
Black reveals bright points; white and primary colors expose dark or incorrectly colored points. Enter fullscreen and hide controls while inspecting. Tap the pattern to restore them.
Check twice
Change field color and viewing angle. Dust and screen protectors can resemble a defect. A persistent dark point may indicate a dead pixel; a bright colored point may indicate a stuck subpixel. The browser cannot identify either automatically.
Document before attempting repair
Photograph persistent defects and consult the seller’s pixel policy. Do not press on the panel. This site does not promise to revive pixels. Compare larger patches using uniformity fields and backlight inspection.
